We are so glad you are here.

Hello, and welcome to our practice!

Founder, Owner, & Director

Helping people improve their lives is my passion. Seeing people’s progress or, like I always joke, “put myself out of business” (when people don’t need to see me anymore) is my favorite part of my job. I feel truly honored to work with my clients.

I have had the privilege of working with individuals & families in private practice since 2013, and I have been working in the social work field since 2007. I hold a master’s degree in Social Work from Rutgers University with a concentration in direct practice with children and families. I have also worked in the child welfare field in a non-profit organization, on a school child study team, as an intensive in-community counselor (IIC), and as an adjunct professor at Centenary University in their social work field education program and in the psychology department at Sussex County Community College.

I had an in-person private practice office for 7 years before I made the decision to close my office location in 2020 during the COVID-19 crisis and exclusively see clients virtually. Other clinicians on the SLS team have resumed seeing clients in-person at our new office location in Sparta, NJ. I supervise all of the clinicians on the SLS team.

Since going fully virtual with my own clients, I have been exclusively seeing adults, teens, and young adults. I specialize in working with people affected by intrusive thoughts and anxiety disorders like Generalized Anxiety Disorder, OCD, and Panic Disorder. I also have specialized training in working with people affected by trauma, and those diagnosed with PTSD; I am trained in TF-CBT and EMDR.
